My Story

Globally recognised technology and supply chain expert, futurist, entrepreneur and startup enthusiast. I am regularly sought out for my fresh perspective and brutally-honest style of accurate forecasting. Evangelising innovation with 20 years advisory experience in technology consulting, disruptive supply chains, and new business models. Continuously influencing future trends, working together with most Fortune 500 global companies, while investing and mentoring hundreds of startups worldwide that are leading that charge.

But here’s the deal, I’m just a normal down to earth guy. I really am. Yes, I work hard and I hustle to make my dreams a reality. But I definitely don’t live a normal, boring, mundane existence. I live a fulfilling and rewarding life. Today, I continue to provide advice and speak at workshops, conferences, and other events. Plus, I am dedicated to leading disruptive innovation, and dragging complacent corporations into the future by helping other misfits build and grow their own dreams.

A feeling of belonging is when I am understood, recognised, and affirmed by friends, family members, partners, colleagues, and even strangers, I feel I belong to my community. A feeling of purpose is when I have long-term goals in my life that reflect my values and serve a greater good, I tend to imbue my activities with more meaning.

Transcendence & Wonder
My experiences that fill me with awe or wonder – ones in which I feel I have risen above the everyday world to experience a higher reality. It can decrease my self-focus and lead me to engage in more generous, helpful behaviour. It may seem counterintuitive in some ways; but the diminishment of my own self-importance can induce a sense of personal meaning.

Personal storytelling is when I find meaning, it helps to try to pull particularly relevant experiences in my life into a coherent narrative that defines my identity. When I describe my personal life as meaningful, I tend to have redemptive stories where I overcame something negative, emphasised growth, communion with others, and personal well-being.
